The third batch of national trade-in policy funds has been allocated, and starting from August 26, Taobao and Tmall will be the first platforms to launch the subsidy claim process. Currently, consumers in provinces and cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Guangdong can access the national subsidy section by visiting the Taobao app homepage or searching for "national subsidy" to claim relevant subsidies. This year, the subsidy coverage has been further expanded, coinciding with the back-to-school season, with products like smart lamps, study desks and chairs, and learning tablets being included in the trade-in subsidy program for the first time, offering up to 20% subsidies. Additionally, 3C digital products such as smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches/bands priced under 6,000 yuan are eligible for a 15% subsidy, with a maximum discount of 500 yuan.
